Ultimate Ears adorned.

After ages of wanting the best in hi fidelity for the road, I discovered Ultimate Ears. Snoop around their site and you’ll see they’re the best in the sound game, their in-ear monitors are used by the greatest music makers. Well, Rach set me up to get a pair made for my birthday. By the time I got down there they’d done a bit of snooping of their own and found out a bit about GOOD ART. Turns out we’ve got a lot in common and the result is we agree that our two groups compliment eachother. Now available, if you know to ask, any of their custom in-ear monitors can be adorned with GOOD ART HLYWD Rosettes in gold or silver. We’ve done a few pairs so far and they’re pretty sick. The Silver ones add about $215 to the price, gold as quoted. Just drop them them a line and ask for Brad Jensen in Custom Sales e-mail or 949-502-8349 and tell him you want the GOOD ART HLYWD Special. Haven’t done them yet, but I think the Round GA Skull would be bitchen too.

Named for Oso Chaves, the new Bear Link is finished. These chains are slow going, the links are all cast individually, cleaned, sanded and sawed open. The links are then fit together in a strand, open ends hammered shut and then soldered back together. It ain’t fast but it’s correct. First sizes available are the #3 & #4. Standard lengths are 30″ and 24″ and they’ll mostly be fitted with the No. 9 clasp.

The first two chains made were a 22.5″ #4 w/gold rosette on the clasp and a 30″ #3. At the same time I also finished a Large Lotus Pendant w/gold rosette & white diamond surround and #5 double sided Spanish Cross, w/white diamond and ruby. All 4 pieces were firsts. They were made for a friend of ours in Florida. He ended up taking the cross and the shorter chain. The 30″ chain and the Large Lotus pendant are available.
